Terms & Conditions for grooming

We must be informed before grooming your dog if:

  • your dog has previously shown any signs of aggression 
  • your dog has any medical condition, illness or allergy
  • your dog has fleas or has been showing signs of having fleas 
  • your dog suffers from anxiety or is of a nervous disposition

My priority is always the comfort of your dog and I would never do anything that would cause him/her intentional upset. Therefore, If I cannot brush knots or mats out of your dog without causing them stress, I may need to clip off their coat instead. I would however not do this without contacting you first.  I cannot be held responsible for rashes, red marks etc when a dog has had to be clipped short due to an unkempt coat.


Although I will always take the utmost care of your pet, dogs are liable to sudden movements, sometimes causing accidents. In the event of this happening, Shampooch cannot be held responsible. 


All of the shampoos and liquids Shampooch use are professional dog grooming products and have been tested for allergies. However I cannot be held responsible in the unlikely event that your dog does have an allergic reaction to one of the products I have used. Please let me know beforehand if your dog has particularly sensitive skin. 


Appointments:

If you are late dropping off your dog for your appointment you may have to rebook.

If you need to cancel an appointment, please give me at least 24 hours notice otherwise calling an appointment off last minute will incur a charge of 50% of the estimated groom price.
